The Bank for International Development (BAID)

 

The Bank for International Development (BAID) was established on 20 November, 2020 with the aim of adequately serving the pursuit of sustainable development activities and providing international cooperation projects and programs with stable operational benchmarks as well as infrastructural support for the development of their humanitarian, ecological and sustainable activities, according to the UN/SDGsSustainable Development Goals, promoted by the United Nations General Assembly on September 25, 2015).

The sectors foreseen as empowered to be financed by the BAID are: agriculture, food and water, energy and reforestation as well as economic development and resilience in favor of the ACP (Africa, Caribbean and Pacific) Regional compartment and moreover in new developing economies.

The BAID applies the highest ethical and quality standards in the management of development funds and the resources at its disposal.
